The Little Black Box ~ July! The TARTS
Being my first time trying out The Little Black Box, I had no idea what to expect. Seeing the long list of Wonderful & Unique Etailers on the "What's in the Box" Page of TLBB's site... I certainly had high hopes.
When the Box arrived the first thing I noticed was that of course it wasn't black at all! It actually arrived in your standard box from the post office which makes perfect sense now that I think about it. Inside was some paper to keep the box in place and a rather small black box tied up ever so neatly. As for smell, I really didn't smell much but a slight whisper of lemon.
I rec. items from 12 etailers total but there was a huge variety of products which was really great for someone like me, who wants to try a bit of everything. As with any review, I decided that It was best to really give the items a good test before making my reviews and now of course ...
Here are my favorite:
Tarts
Aroma Soy
Luckily since I'm a huge fan of coffee I ended up with a Soy Melt in the lovely scent of Hazlenut Latte. I decided to test this one out in my kitchen since that's where the coffee making magic typically occurs in my home. Packaged in a cute little clear plastic cup with a lid, I popped it out into a standard tealight style burner. It melted rather quickly but the scent was heavenly. This Scent has a sweet note to it that reminds me of a dollop of whipped cream. Who says coffee is for fall or winter... an iced hazelnut latte would be excellent even in the hot July sun.

Whiff n Sniff
Wow, I really didn't see this one coming. I've visited Whiff n Sniff several times in the past and never really had anything pull me into an order. I think it's because they seem like your standard run of the mill tart cups and I've tried a ton but let me tell you. The scents are really worth trying out. I rec. 1 cup in Orange Juice Cake & 1 cup in Emerald City Cake (which is green and sprinkled with cinnamon, I want a real cake that smells like this!) I burned the Orange Juice Cake last night after we came back from the Lake because it seemed like a Summery Dessert Flavor and boy was I right, my house still smells fantastic. Today, A swap box has shown up at my door stop from the lovely ladies at Lemming Central and included are some cups from Whiff N Sniff that I'm going to surely snag a few for myself! (Thank you Ronda!)

Leeanns Natural Soy Candles![]()
Ordinarily I wouldn't be so intrigued with such a simply packaged little cream colored tart. This strange little tart arrived in a little ziploc type bag with a label that reads "Gembertaarts". Now to be honest, I took one smell of this little critter "cold" and turned my nose up at it. Just didn't seem to smell that great to me. But after a while I kept returning to test the unusual aroma that i cannot seem to describe with any other word but "unusual". If you are looking to try something new, this would be a great scent to give a chance. It starts off a little nutmeg custard-like to me rather than a ginger as described. I really enjoyed it burning down into a light buttery cake scent that's very sweet. I guess sometimes tarts (like most people) really deserve the opportunity to fully display the warming goodness deep inside!
