The Bumble Bee Nose: July Box ~ Lemming Central Sampler

My daughter brought it up... It was a plain old Priority Box that I had assumed was a Boutique dress I had recently ordered for her. I scrambled for some scissors or a butter knife to dig into the well sealed box when I noticed the name "Janine" on the Sender's address label. Omi-gooosh! I became frantic, I've seen that name before... about 2 months ago. Oh Yes it's the Lemming Central Sampler Box! At that point I decided that my finger nails would have to do the dirty work and after a minute or so I broke in! As I've posted several times now, the best thing about the July Box is the face full of Chocolate & Oranges that I nearly drowned in when I opened it. An army of angry Titans could not have pulled me away from this box.

I received Many very Generous samples as well as discount cards on future orders in this package (some appear to be full size) Here's a quick review of the good stuff that I think are totally worthy of any nose, not just the Bumble Bee's :)

Tarts

Busy Bee Candle Shop

Love Spell ~ 2 of them even! Perfect Size for my burner, heavily scented and they have an adorable chunky grubby scalloped shape that gives you a warm bakery feel. These cuties were pkg'd in a neutral homespun plaid bag with ribbon drawstrings. I'm a fan already as my kitchen has a simillar primitive theme. The Love Spell scent to me is very Juicy and Sweet with slight floral notes.

Things That Make Scents

100 % Soy Tarts in Fountain of Youth and Berry Bundt Cake ~ They are poured into Large Labelled Black Plastic Containers with lids in which you "Pop" the tart out into your burner/warmer. These seemed to melt up nicely and fill the room with just the right amount of Scent. I have only melted the Berry Bundt Cake so far as it was more suited to my tastes due to the rich berry scent that dances with the sweetness of an almond pound cake. The Fountain of Youth I found to be more of a "Fresh Linen" or "Clean" type scent though I have not experienced it to it's fullest yet.

Elementals

Scalloped Tarts scented in Sage & Citrus and Bobbi Brown Beach Type. I really liked the Bobbi Brown, it's a very fine Dupe of the Original Fragrance. Pretty blue colored Tart w/a great scent throw. Tarts are very nice but I was actually won over by the samples of Pink Sugar Perfume (which is an excellent dupe of the one by Aquolina) and Peach Sugar Lotion which is non-greasy and smells fantastic, yes I know I'm supposed to be reviewing tarts right now w/e. Oooo la la :)

Dark Temptations

How deserving this devilishly delicious Citrus Crush Dark Fluff Creme is... I'd eat it if I could. No, I really would! But instead... after I exchanged my Dear Darling Husband's Dial for a Bar of Deadly Intoxication Soap (also by Dark Temptations) forcing him to use only what was avaialable and come out smelling like blackberries and merlot. I then of course proceeded to break the cardinal rule of "never putting Girlie lotion" on his person. Girlie of course being defined as "anything scented or enjoyable". Maybe if we could make it sting or smell of rust or engine sludge? Hey Etailers~ Get to work on that okay?! Anyway...
As he slept I rubbed some of this Citrus Crush fluff on the back of his heels and the side of his feet and to my surprise it wasn't even the slightest bit greasy or oily. No residue, nothing... just soaked right in. Everything was absorbed except the forgotten (and likely imaginary) excess he still complains "was left inbetween his toes". I'm still in shock. I normally can't stand citrus scents... this is such an unusual scent that smells like oranges and whipped cream w/a soothing herbal base. I figure when my darling hubby's rough feet return, he will forgive me.

Spatacular Body

Mmm... this is my second date with Triple Layer Cake body butter which is an improvement upon the popular 3-in-1 by Sephora with the same name. Very Vanilla, Very Cakey... but has a rather Old fashioned Maple Syrup smell to it rather than the almond peaks in Sephora's product. This is a heavy moisturizer and is very thick... if you like decadent... this is for you. I also received a soap in the scent of CoCabana Coconut which I have smelled but not tested. I did review a bar of Turkish Mocha previously which smelled like an exotic chocolate cocoa and was very long lasting. I love a good homemade soap that doesn't mush up on the soap rack. Also, I've noticed they are having a huge 40% off sale right now!

Adorable little bottle of Aloe & Shea lotion pkg'd in a Sweet little goodie bag w/blues and green strands of yarn. They def have nice packaging but it's the inside that counts right? Well the Texture is Excellent and the Smell is TDF too. This one is Scented Ocean Water which I assumed would be another Linen/Soap or Marine Smell that I tend to dread... but no! Its soft & sweet w/a tinge of lemon candy. It's quite lovely. You know how some lemon-scented products smell more like a disgusting household Cleaner than a wearable fragrance? Well Thank Goodness... This does NOT. It's very graceful and I think would be a great morning moisturizer if your an early bird. It has a wake-you-up effect that is not at all overbearing. Possets

Burgundy silk bag containing 3 perfume vials. My favorite entitled Haute Love blew me away and surely gives other Chocolate Passion fragrances a damn good run for thier money. This one is swirled with spicey ginger! If you've liked or are familliar w/Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab (Bpal) I insist you give Possets a try, the theme has a simillar tone but the products have a completely different feel. Also included was Ultramarine Blue which was very calming & clean. Then I tried Maddam X which is a very unique and intriguing fragrance you would really have to experience yourself. It's dark, musky, and slightly foody. I found it to compliment Haute Love quite well. I am very interested in trying other scents by this amazing perfumer.

I've been slain. Not just one great product but 3. After sneaking the bar of Deadly Intoxications into my Husband's shower, I indulged in the sample from thier New line Triple Chocolate Threat for myself. Pure Chocolate Heaven oR as Dark Temptations describes it... Chocogasmic! 3 layers of it in fact, topped off with Vegan Dark and White Chocolate shavings to boot! I hate to play favorites but well... Bzzzzz
